By Cycling Dad:
2013 will be my first competitive season back in the saddle. With a bit of luck, Alex may still be able to join me later in the season after delivering our second baby.
Are you planning to join some of these events? Please leave a comment and let’s meet up.

Hi Kai,
Planning my 2013 cycling calendar, I stumbled upon your site which is great btw.
As I am hoping to ride the Oetztaler, I see you have planned to join the Dunwich Dynamo.
I havent been able to find serious info on the net I wonder if you can unravel your plan for your this particular ride. Do you know if there is some sort of organisation?
Thanks for your answer and good luck with training the big O!
Hi Arnaud,
Glad you like the site! It’s good getting to know more would-be participants of the Big O on the web. I hope that we will all get starting places! That said, please make sure to come back in a couple of days, or better yet subscribe to our newsletter. I may have some news for you soon… also I have adjusted the overall schedule a little bit. I’ll be at the Berlin Velothon in June and will also join the Alpen-Traum in September (a LOT of climbing coming up later this year)…
Regarding the Dunwich Dynamo – all I could find is . An old friend of mine now lives in London and invited me to the ride. Compared to the other rides on my event plan, the Dunwich Dynamo is rather alternative, but from what I’ve heard it is legendary. I’ll give it a try and let you know how it is right here on the Cycling Parents blog.
Good luck in your preparations and see you at the Oetztaler!
